Weingut Weinrieder is a family-owned estate, situated in the centre of the Weinviertel region, an hilly area with loamy soils, bringing minerality to compliment the characteristic 'pepper' spiciness found throughout the region.
A dry, crisp, citrussy wine with green apple and melon on the nose, supported on the palate by typical Gruner white pepper warmth. In Austria 'Klassik' designates a wine made with stainless steel and no oak, to preserve the freshness of the fruit, and this is a benchmark Weinrieder wine - it has enjoyable acidity and pure fruit flavours.
