In the case of Glenfiddich 15 Year Old Vat 03, the whiskey is matured in a combination of American oak, sherry, and virgin oak casks. This combination of cask types imports distinct characteristics to the final product.
This rich and sweet single malt is carefully matured in European oak sherry, new oak and ex-bourbon casks for over 15 years before harmonising in our unique Solera VAT 03. |
