Aroma : Floral hints with some spice, red fruits like morello cherry, plum, dried herbs, earthy tones. 

Flavour: Juicy red fruit (cherry, plum, sometimes darker berries), with touches of earth, cinnamon or eastern spice; licorice and savoury herb notes in some vintages. 

Body: Medium-bodied; polished (not overly heavy) tannins; good acidity to balance the fruit richness.

Finish: Savoury with dried herbs and spice linger; moderate length; often a dry finish.
